Green Brick Partners (GRBK) completed its previously announced $275mm cash-and-stock deal to acquire the equity assets of JBGL Builder Finance LLC and certain subsidiaries of JBGL Capital LP. Some readers may remember that the company was formerly known as BioFuel Energy Corp (GRBK), an ethanol producer with substantial NOLs. David Einhorn is now Chairman and holds a 49.9% stake.
