TriMas Corporation (TRS) announced it has approved a plan to pursue a tax-free spin-off of 100% of its Cequent business into a new stand-alone, publicly traded company. Cequent is a leading designer and manufacturer of custom towing, trailer and cargo management products. This transaction is expected to be completed during mid-2015. Source
